Äventyr is about experiencing diverse cultures and bringing the spirit of adventure into people’s homes and daily lives. We do this by selling sustainably sourced one-of-a-kind handmade treasures from around the world and by promoting our lifestyle, vacation at home.

We believe that it is our responsibility as retailers to reduce waste in our supply chain and so the majority of our products are made from natural materials such as wool, grass and other plant fibers. We also sell beautiful carpets made from upcycled cotton scraps and work only with suppliers that treat their workers fair and pay them well. We are part of a network that is empowering women artisans in Africa and South America by providing them with an ethical space to work in so that they can create new opportunities for their families.

Biodegradable raw materials, produced in close proximity to our manufacturers, help reduce our carbon footprint and all the products we sell are made to last a lifetime, in fact our carpets increase in value with age and most of them are vintage already which means we are giving them a second life.

Our love of nature made it clear that we had to work with plants and since 2016 Äventyr has been selling marvelous species of exotic plants from around the world. We provide plantscaping and fresh flower styling for all kinds of events and spaces as well as offering permanent installation and maintenance in offices, showrooms and private homes.

We are able to offer an amazing selection of fantastic plants in all sizes ranging from tiny seedlings to impressive full grown trees. Plants are delicate beings with each individual species having its own particular needs. That’s why we here at Äventyr have dedicated our lives to plants so that you don’t have to.

We make our client's workplace a pleasure to be in. We do this through bold design choices and big ideas with plants that improve air quality and employee focus.

We help people create spaces that they love spending time in and this is at the core of everything we do at Äventyr. As our brand grows we are expanding our scope to incorporate more and more pieces to this puzzle. Äventyr is her to stay, furniture, ceramics and other interior items are next on our list of product categories to add to our catalogue and together with our ever deepening knowledge of plants we aim to soon being able to offer a complete solution for interior design projects.

Another driving force behind our urge to grow is our vision for the future where we want to manufacture some of our products ourselves so that we can better control the supply chain and engage in even more sustainable projects that benefit the ethnic regions we source our products from. We have ambitious goals and are passionate about everything we do.

Furthermore we are currently in the process of selecting foundations to partner up with so that our customers will be able to plant trees and clean up beaches as part of doing business with us.

A greener world in which more people can live their lives to the fullest is what drives us to do what we do.
