Azilal rugs are a medium pile, hand woven wool rug that typically feature a plush white wool background with large scale geometric patterns and Berber symbols. Azilals can be a simple, brown-on-cream motif (similar to the famous Beni Ourains) or a full on celebration of color and pattern.I was handwoven with natural and fine wool by the Berber tribes of the Atlas Mountains.
